types of data stored in common repositories. At last count, this major flight reservations company had over
50 interfaces that provide services to 3rd party partners for the purpose of booking airline tickets.
These interfaces continued to evolve over time and required an ever increasing amount of maintenance overhead.
ECS helped develop a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Framework and strategy for this major flight reservations company.
The Approach:
ECS provided technical staff to help create a solution that incorporated all required aspects of the SOA framework. This included design, development, implementation, training and mentoring, and system/user documentation.

The solution provided a single framework to be used as new interfaces and 3rd party providers required access to the reservations system.
