The Business Problem:
Current Sales/Marketing teams rely heavily on IT to create maintain and deploy thousands of pricing
components that represent the products and services for a major U.S. Wireless provider.
Often, Sales/Marketing is at IT's mercy to deploy even the simplest of campaign/promotional products and services.
ECS created a single interface to deploy products and services across multiple systems and multiple locations.
This single system allows Sales/Marketing to do everything from pricing strategies to product bundling to feature changes.
The end result was a seamless interface/system to provide the business with a fast (speed to market), easy,
and reliable way to take products to market while reducing the reliance on various internal organizations.
The Approach:
ECS worked closely with all Sales/Marketing and IT organizations to Conceptualize, Design, Develop, Implement, and support a common pricing platform for all key pricing components of the business. This includes but is not limited to Price Plans, Features, Feature Packages/Bundles, and Roaming. In addition, the new platform also provides Strategy Price Plans that can take conceptual ideas and make them into real products and services.
